It would be easier if the “Righteous Gentiles” were all flawless characters; HOWEVER, Explore Messiah…? purposely chose three examples of imperfect and not-so-well-known Christians who did the right thing because it was the Christian thing to do. Christians are not perfect and we are not expected to be; however, we are commanded to strive to be better than the world behaves – and the majority who professed Jesus failed during World War II. The “Righteous Gentiles” sadly are the exception and not the rule – how does this impact your view of the Christian message today?
